Report on Cleanliness Drive in DGH on 2nd October, 2017
Swachhta Divas was observed by DGH personnel on 2nd October, 2017 by a befitting manner.
A number of activities were carried out during observance of Swachhta Divas which are mentioned as hereunder:
1. All DGH officials and staffs gathered in the office complex at 09.30 am to execute the cleanliness drive in and around DGH office complex located at OIDB Bhawan.
2. Rich tributes were paid to the “Father of the Nation” on the occasion. A portrait sized photograph of Mahatma Gandhi adorned the entrance of DGH office, to enable employees to pay their gratitude through floral tributes.
3. The day started with Sh. Mahendra Pratap, Dy. DG, DGH paying the homage to the Father of the Nation, by garlanding his photo-frame on behalf of DGH family. Thereafter, Dy. DG, DGH administered the “Cleanliness Oath” to the huge gathering of DGH officials at 09.45 am in front of the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi, at DGH office complex at OIDB Bhawan, Noida.
4. Dy. DG, DGH along with other participants visited the premises of DGH Office and inspected the surrounding of the office. A massive cleanliness drive was carried out by the participants with full gusto and enthusiasm for close to two hours, lead by Dy. DG, Sr. Officials and staff members.
5. A numbers of banners were displayed at prominent places of DGH office as observance of “Swachhta Hi Sewa.
The programme ended with the resolve to continue such cleanliness drive in and around the DGH premises throughout the year and make “Clean Office and surrounding a habit”.
